San Juan Airlines question

Sun May 19, 2019 8:08 pm

How does San Juan Airlines deal with weather cancellations on their scheduled service if they’re VFR only? I imagine completed flights in the winter aren’t 100%?

Also, what kind of Part 135 allows them to fly a daily schedule like they advertise?

I'd say fall back on the Washington State Ferry system if VFR conditions are not available. Here's the schedule from Anacortes to Lopez, Shaw, Orcas, and Friday Harbor. ... ute=ana-sj

It’s under 19 seats, so scheduled 135.
