Boeing aims for first flight of 777X in late June

Thu May 30, 2019 5:51 am

Reuters reports that Boeing is looking to make the first test flight of its 777X twin-aisle jet as soon as late June. This is slightly later than planned and will miss the Paris airshow but should still be on track for putting the plane into airline service in 2020.

It would have been nice for the 779 to be at PAS but better not to rush things if they aren't ready yet.

Hopefully there will still be some other positive news about the 779 during the show.

And besides, end of June/early July (if it slips) isn't that far away so I'll be patient...
Never be proud. Always be grateful.
