First aircraft painted in CH air livery (ex-Germania Flug Switzerland)

Wed Jun 12, 2019 9:42 am

Germania Flug is now officially rebranded as ch air and a first aircraft was painted in their livery

The livery is pretty nice for a leisure airline, but they should have written it CH air instead of ch air. It's a bad joke as it is now.

According to their own press release, they call themselves Chair Airlines, but make the distinction to Switzerland by giving "ch" another colour.

Cheers!

Could almost be a SAirGroup Airline, with that 1990s type font.

The article states they want people to read chair as an airline basically sells seats, their full name is actually chair Airlines.
I just think that's a generic name, but again for a leisure airline with many fly-once-a-year passengers it may work.

Sorry, but what a silly, weird and unimaginatively plain name... I really don't like it.

"The livery is pretty nice for a leisure airline"? I take it you have not seen Edelweiss Air. This looks just like a pile of doodoo.

Saw an article call it Chair Airlines and I laughed at their mistake. Then I realize it really is called Chair Airlines

I used to get amused by Carpatair because it reminded me of a flying carpet. Now we have a chair.

I tried googling them to get to their website and it took about 7 different searches of different variations of chair, ch air, ch air airlines, chair airlines etc. before the chair.ch came up. Not very user friendly and no branding on the livery. I wish them all the best though and I like the livery.

Oh wow...an older Austrian plane took off too quickly, and its blue belly ended up on its tail!

Kidding aside, the livery is simple, clean, and somewhat unimaginative. With the vague exception of Edelwiess, isn't that what would expect?

If you can name an airline "Chair", what else can you name it? Air Doorway? Air Windowpane? Air Washroom Mirror? Air Axial Compressor?

It's a pretty nice livery. Not anyhing that will win any awards, but you could tell them apart. The completely stupid name will help stick too. The point is that people be able to find it though...
