Cathay to resume Moscow?

Fri Jun 21, 2019 5:01 am

Found something interesting on the CX website on the “discover more destinations “ I see Moscow listed, although Some of you may think that this page is out of date, but the same page also has the new destinations Brussels and Dublin, while short lived Copenhagen service was taken off but not Moscow which CX stopped flying to in 2015. What’s going on?

It doesn’t list SEA, IAD or BAH which CX currently serves. It mixes in Cathay Dragon destinations but also doesn’t list PNH, HKT and CNX. It might just be poorly updated :)

But for Europe/Johannesburg it looks updated except for Moscow...

Huh? I’m not seeing Moscow on their website. But I see Seattle/Washington D.C.

No that’s different, you need to type up “Cathay pacific explore destinations” which had Moscow added in April apparently. Look at this https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_NZ/ ... tions.html and scroll down

It's been on that page since November 2014, perhaps longer as archive.org hasn't saved a copy before then. CX cancelled Moscow on June 1 2015, it's been in every snapshot I've had the enthusiasm to look at after that date.

that page is a bit of a mess as it has the new European destinations Brussels and Dublin, but no Washington and Seattle, while showing the unserved Moscow, CX needs to sort out that part of their website obviously
