What a classless person to do this and sooooo gross. This woman probably walks barefoot into the aircraft lavatories as well. Too bad airlines don't have the balls to throw these scumbags off the plane until they learn how to interact in society.

BTW, the airline is Delta.

Another reason to wipe down your IFE screen, armrests, tray table, armrest, seat belt buckle, etc.

I believe the article states it's a man.

While pretty gross to see (and maybe smell), I can't imagine a foot is much dirtier than a hand that is exposed to everything all the time. Maybe he has no arms? :duck:

Meanwhile, on this same site, people are arguing over a lady who was thrown off an AA jet because she was wearing 'revealing clothing' over her beautiful voluptuous body. Yet no FA said anything to the scumbag who was touching the screen with his dirty feet.

Oh boy, I have to say, I hate it when I see strangers sitting next to me removing their shoes and socks... the smell is generally far from pleasant....

Totally acceptable behavior. IF one is without hands/arms.

Maybe the toe method was the only way to get that ancient IFE screen to work?

I can wiggle my big toes independently of each other - its my party trick. My Grandmother always told me it brought good luck. Does that count?

This is why I prefer airlines without IFE.

Honestly, I'm impressed that they have good enough control of their toes/feet to operate the screen. I'd probably use too much pressure essentially kicking the head of the person in front of me.

If you think this is disgusting you should never leave the house. At the end of the day the toes are probably cleaner than the fingers. I know we've been socially engineered to believe that feet are dirty and hands are clean when in reality that's not really true. Think about it. You shower, put socks on, put shoes on, walk thru the airport touching everything and anything with your bare hands while your toes are nicely covered.

I recently heard someone making the argument that we should never wash our hands after peeing in a public bathroom because just the door handle alone, let alone the flusher and faucet are likely to be a lot less clean than your junk. When you think about it he's probably right and there's a lot of logic in it but it's still a very difficult concept to agree with.

So what happens if somebody isn't wearing socks. I keep my shoes on, but if I'm wearing sandals, I wasn't wearing socks in the first place.

It was DL due to design on bulkhead and Row 1 of First. In this case, no class in First.

It all started when men stopped being expected to wear jackets and ties, women in dresses. Been downhill ever since. Yes, I still do in winter (Labor Day to Memorial Day) or collared polo and dress slacks in summer. Have for 45 years.
