United Club in Denver

Sun Jul 21, 2019 12:08 am

The two United Club's on Concourse B in Denver need work! With the recent expansion of the Denver hub to 500 daily departures, is there any chance UA could update these clubs?

The DEN clubs have always been an afterthought compared to the other hubs. I believe they put new furniture in recently, though I haven't heard of anything to renovate the clubs to match the refurbished ones at SFO, LAX, and elsewhere. They really should do something, especially if they're not going to put in a Polaris lounge as they've added more international flights from DEN.

On the plus side, and to keep this in the Civil Aviation forum, the United Clubs have the best planespotting views out of the entire airport. Nice, high up views of the apron, and you can see all three concourses.

They probably need to get going on a renovation of the clubs due to the increase in flights.

Not only that, but the whole of the existing concourses could use a refresh to match the new extensions.

BTW, is the Centurion lounge open in C yet?

And it was always cool if your gate was near one of the Clubs...you could watch your aircraft pull in.

Nothing better happen to the DEN clubs before the EWR situation is figured out!

I love how DEN has 2 UA clubs and they both placed in great locations with a great view of the tarmac. Only downside, they are in need of some renovations. From what i remember, DEN will not be receiving a Polaris lounge, which makes sense since they only have 2 or 3 long haul routes. What lounge do Star Alliance fliers use at DEN, are the UA clubs their only option?

It will be interesting to see if there is spare space on the A Concourse expansion for another United Club given United’s interest in taking a number of the new gates.

It would be interesting the see an analysis of number of flights (or departure seats) per United club (or club size) at various airports around the world. DEN has to be at the very high end of the pack.

It went from "Coming 2019" to "Coming soon" so probably pushed to 2020.

Yeah two clubs doesn't seem to be enough. UA has about the same number of flights at DEN as DL does at DTW but DTW has four sky clubs.

Not just that, but IAD has about half the number of UA flights as DEN and has 4 United Clubs if I recall correctly.
