Asia Pacific updated livery on 3rd 757F

Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:23 am

As the title suggest, with the delivery of its third 757, P9 has a revised livery for its 20th year in the air. First flight was June 3rd, 1999.

This is how they looked until a few days ago...

...and this is how they'll look from now on. I really like the title's typeface.

Planspotters indicates they have a fourth 757 stored at GYR still in passenger configuration. Will it be used to replace their last 727F sometimes in the future?

Looks like a green version of the new United livery. I like it a lot.
The typeface is indeed great, and much better than the previous. Remind me of 80s typefaces like United (Saul Bass), Eastern and Frontier!
I've always enjoyed these futuristic, sci-fi typefaces!
I wonder when people will understand:
Embraer 190 or simply E190, not ERJ-190. E-Jets are NOT ERJs!
Boeing 747-8, not Boeing 747-800. Same goes for 787.
Airbus A320, not Airbus 320.
Airbii does not exist.

This airline has been one of the most interesting to me for some time.

To stay in business in this industry for over 20 years with only 3-4 narrow body airplanes flying routes to these exotic destinations over the vast expanses they do on both a scheduled and charter basis is quite the achievement!

Below are the flights data I've gathered from Flightradar over the last seven days. I can't say they keep their three 757Fs very busy.

N688SL :
1/17th. GUM-MAJ-HNL-GUM

N757QM :
1/15th. GUM-HNL-GUM
1/17th. GUM-TKK-KWA-GUM
1/20th. GUM-MAJ-HNL-GUM

N888LT:
1/17th HNL-PPG-HNL

For some odd reason embedded photos seem to disappear after about an hour on A.net. A picture is worth a thousand words and my post is kinda useless without it.

Here is another link in case it disappears again:

Obviously most of those are charters. Here is the scheduled network:

This livery caught my eye also. I don't like the wave, but the green, tail design and type-face is satisfying. Surprised myself with airline's history. Learning it transports cargo across the vast Pacific for all this time is intriguing to say the least. Almost mysterious.
