Did United reduce its gates at LGA?

Thu Aug 08, 2019 1:00 pm

Hello, in the new terminal B at LGA, I have counted 6 gates for United. I don't remember the number of United gates in the previous location, but I expect they were more.
Do you know if United has reduced its gates in LGA new terminal?
Thanks

No UA always had 6 gates for about an average 40 departures per day.

AC uses gate 51 when they bring their 767-300s into the new concourse.

The 757 uses a DC-10-sized gate, and UA will occasionally have the 757-300 scheduled on LGA-DEN, so I suppose at least one UA gate can. I doubt UA still has the equipment to service a widebody at LGA, though.

Usually during IRROPS, like recovery from weather-related delays.
