Does anyone mind letting me know how reputable this source is? This sound really stupid.

Clearly they're not that reputable, since they got the article from the aviation equivalent of the Onion:

https://thinairtoday.com/2019/08/15/sau ... -birthday/
The plural of Airbus is Airbuses. Airbii is not a word.
There is no 787-800, nor 787-900 or 747-800. It's 787-8, 787-9, and 747-8.
A321neoLR is also unnecessary. It's simply A321LR.
Airplanes don't have isles, they have aisles.

Saw that on another website than OP's.

Surely this can't be true (I'm talking to you Dr. Rumack). Airbus would have contacted the "buyer" way ahead of the planes being ready for delivery.

Must be April 1st somewhere.

I really doubt you can pick interior of such plane by phone...

Also I would think Airbus would pamper a bit more a private owner of such "scale". :D

A lot of good stuff on that website, thanks!

Off topic, but I loved the London Underground Airport ; The weather in the underground airport will be light showers with limited visibility to represent the London weather.

Anything in Saudi Arabia may be possible...but how did Airbus call him in a couple of months to tell him the planes were ready for delivery?!?

Like a medium 3-topping pizza from Pizza Hut, Airbus called to say that it was ready for delivery. Meanwhile while all is lost in translation for the man, things like making a deposit that is far greater than the cost of a toy didn't deter him.
