Air Tanzania 787s

Sat Aug 31, 2019 3:34 pm

I know that Air Tanzania has a route from DAR to BOM that's being operated by their first 787 but what are the plans for the second one that was expected to ship in November of this year?

They have secured a slot at London Gatwick from the end of 2020.

But that's assuming the plane isn't impounded by creditors before.

Regarding LGW.

Air Tanzania have secured three weekly slot pairs at LGW for the end of 2019, the airline takes delivery of it's second B788 in Q419.

Air Tanzania intend to resume flights to LGW at the end of 2019 or early 2020, three flights a week JRO-DAR-LGW.
