MD80 flies into retirement with American Airlines

N984TW flew AAL Flight 80 from DFW to ORD. The aircraft is now headed to a boneyard in New Mexico. The MD80s from American were only at half life, though. Hopefully, another airline will pick them up.

Actually, I hate to be this guy but World Atlantic Airlines also operates MD80's out of Miami so we will hopefully see the Maddog operate for a long time after Delta retires the type.

N501AA is still at Tulsa, right? Hasn't flown to Roswell I think...
