I’d be interested in knowing where all the MAX Operators have stored their MAX’s, of the top of my head, below is a few places I know of which have some stores.

- Southwest, VCV
- FlyDubai, DWC
- Thomson, MAN + Others
- Icelandair, currently at KEF but being ferried to TLS
- Norwegian, scattered throughout their Scandinavian bases.

Can we add any more to the list, or even update them?

United's just moved to GYR within the last month or so; previously they'd been at IAH and one other hub (LAX maybe? Not 100% sure).

I saw two UAL B39M's at LAX as recently as July 28.

I must applaud you for correctly using B39M.

Boeing has undelivered MAXes in every nook and cranny where they can possibly stuff planes. RNT, BFI, and PAE all have their share, and they've taken over a couple of big parking lots at BFI.

Unless my eyes deceived me last week, one of Norwegian's is at EDI.

I know that Alaska Airlines has theirs stored at Moses Lake (MWH). I think they only have one at the moment.

Truthfully, there were a lot of legitimate discussions about the MAX that were started, but all got put into the original unmanageably long thread. And even though the MAX has been grounded for a very long time, I haven't seen any new (or old, for that matter) threads on it for a while. I have wanted to ask questions, but it has struck me as a "not permitted" category. That is my subjective opinion, and no one else's. My one and only rant here, as everything else at a.net has been working VERY well.

Having said that, I am hopeful these planes have been stored carefully - once they are re-certified, that's a LOT of work inspecting every single one of them before they return to service!

I believe two from TUI are stored at Amsterdam Schiphol, next to a Boeing 777 from Jet Airways, and at least four from TUI are stored at Brussels Zaventem.

- Yes, one is grounded in EDI, there was one in TFS too, though not sure if it is still there.

AMX has theirs in MEX

AA has some in Roswell, TUL and maybe a couple of other cities. Can’t remember them all.

Both WestJet and Air Canada have two each at YVR.

There were a few of United's at HOU. Houston Hobby.

At least three of Air Canada's went to MZJ yesterday. Saw one of them go over.

There were an addtional 3 that landed a couple weeks ago that I saw on the radar while working in the tower. They must be storing all of them in MZJ eventually.

Air Italy has their three in Milan Malpensa. One was until recently in Cairo, but it wss flown back to base

I'm pretty sure that UA had some parked at both Houston airports (IAH and HOU). The ones at HOU were parked on runway 17/35 as well as some spots along the west side of the field. They were to be ferried out to Goodyear so I'm not sure if any are still in Houston now.

WestJet's are in YVR, YEG, YYC and YYZ. I believe that YEG and YYC recently swapped frames for ongoing maintenance and engine runs.

Gol have them stored at their maintenance center ramp at CNF.

913 is stored, 915 is either still at BFI or it might already be stored as well. 918 will be next up when it gets built

Has AS accepted delivery of their 737MAXes? I know they were grounded before AS accepted their first one, so are these just Boeing’s 737MAXes that are destined for AS?

I flew into SEA a few weeks ago, and BFI parking lots were FULL of MAXs. It was pretty wild. 40, maybe 50 of them?
And then to think it was only maybe 1.5 months of production!

200 man hours per plane to bring their Max's back to life. Multiply that by 350
some odd jets worldwide and you're looking at a monumental job ..

Last week two of Sunwing were ferried YHM - YMX and YYZ - YMX. One is left at YHM (Royalton). I'm wondering about YMX - not a very pleasant place for the winter. Expected something more warm and dry.. Sunwing has taken their MAX out of the schedule for the coming winter schedule.

A lot of them are at San Antionio - Kelly Field. Drew by them over the weekend and its a lot of them there...

I saw one at AGP - Malaga

Icelandair have actually faced some issues in getting them to Toulouse. First the Irish and UK weren't sure about having them fly in their airspace. Then once that was sorted and they were ready to go the French requested the flightplans to be altered so they wouldn't fly over populated areas.

You can find enough MAX's on Marginal Way south of downtown Seattle to start a small to medium sized airline.

Thai Lion Air B737MAX-9 HS-LSI is now stored at SZB, looking very grim due to tropical climate. Not the best place to store aircraft.

Lion Air B737MAX 8 are stored at various airport in Indonesia. Here are two at Bali.

Lion Air MAX fleet storage is only restricted to airports in Indonesia. Only one MAX9 for Thai Lion Air is stored at SZB Malaysia. It has not moved since March grounding.
