Sun Country HQ Moves to MSP Campus

Sat Oct 05, 2019 12:18 am

According to the Sun Country Instagram, as well as the Sun Country website, the airline has officially made the move to the MSP Campus for their new headquarters. They are now located at 2005 Cargo Road, Minneapolis, MN 55450. They made this announcement a few months ago as the building in Mendota Heights was owned by the Davis Family and Cambria.

Does anyone have any photos of the retro-fitted hangar? I am interested to see how this works out for the airline. I do have to say it might improve costumer service with all of the offices in the same place.

Probably won’t have any effect on customer service as they still contract everything out....

The HQ staff will be closer when they have to fill in due to shortstaffing.... :duck:

I hear they hired 5 short order cooks to make cheeseburgers to hand out on flights again and the lower part of the hangar is certified as a kitchen.

They remodeled the old XJ hanger. Flight Ops have been there for a while. Earlier this year Commissary moved over there from the Building in Mendota Heights. They have been using it since June of 1995 IIRC. The commissary building was used by Flying Food/ Marriott before SY took it over. Before MH Commissary was in the old hanger on 34th, before that they used the old Braniff cargo building. The G.O. has been all over too. Nice to see everyone back at MSP

Esther rumor has it they will start serving White Castle onboard by Christmas....
