interesting adds. Do we know yet what has been dropped/reduced to fund these adds? There have been a few threads on that, but it was never clear if they were market exits/reductions or simply that DY had yet to load the schedule.

While I haven't had a chance to dig through their new loaded schedules, the big flag there is that you see nothing in terms of additions to ARN and CPH. So, just a guess that a lot of flights to both those destinations that became "seasonal" last year, likely aren't returning next summer.

All these adds look to be stronger markets, focus on business, where I would assume the yield is higher than say vacation flying. Again, just a guess, but good for them, smart moves on their part.

At London Gatwick they've reduced 4 routes:
- Buenos Aires (from daily to 5 weekly)
- Rio de Janeiro (from daily to 3 weekly)
- Miami (from daily to 6 weekly)
- Orlando (from daily to 5 weekly)

Are these increases a sign that they are righting the ship? Or are they getting ahead of themselves?

I know they cant focus on new stations but they would make a killing at DTW. Wow's highest Revenue per Enplaned passenger was their time in that market.
I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list!

I thought London Buenos Aires was really strong for them, wasn't the route increased recently?

While they may not be loaded yet, JFK-CPH/ARN are not loaded for S20. I'm guessing since JFK-BCN/FCO are operating into the CPH/ARN slots over winter, that is continuing into summer. I'm guessing they are planning to send all onward connections through LGW or OSL. It should be interesting to see how that pans out for them, especially since the Oslo International Concourse Expansion project is not supposed to be completed until Q2 of 2022.

I wonder how much these plans are still in flux with the 737MAX groundings that are likely to continue into Spring of 2020.

More then likely they will be focusing on Spain, UK and Norway (BCN, LGW, OSL). All other destinations (including ARN and CPH) seem to be solely focus cities or completely reduced to the basic amount of operations from those bases.

If they're still flying from London then those that need to can connect from the Scandanavian cities. I think they had too much duplication of routes.

You would have thought that with the demise of TC they would have increased their flights to MCO from LGW not reduce them.

Glad to see they are still making efforts towards profitability. On another note does anyone know when or if they will still receive the A321LRs? I remember hearing next year but not sure which months

Interesting, still seems like they are not consolidating operations at SFO from OAK.

GIG wasnever daily, its been 4xweekly this summer and winter.

By next summer the stored 787s will be ok which will promote more expansion i expect

Denver has been so incredibly variable, that I haven't been able to risk taking a Norwegian flight to Europe - I booked a flight for my parents on them last year, and then immediately canceled it once they announced that the route would be WAMOS instead of their own 787. In addition, United has moved to 787s for their European routes, which makes a huge difference for me personally (humidity and pressurization matter). With UA finally committing to DEN internationally, I am not sure they will be able to sustain these routes if UA decides to launch their rumored DEN-CDG route.
