ANA-JAL reveal joint Olympic 2020 livery torch relay plane

Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee announced the design of special livery design for aircraft that will participate in the torch relay from Athens Greece.

Both ANA and JAL are the official partners for the 2020 games and design features joint logos.

A million times better than the normal liveries (I really like orange planes)

Indeed, believed to be their first ever cooperation.

Given it's a torch relay I bet it might be just one plane - but I hope to be proved wrong!

The article says that it's most likely going to be a JAL 787-8.

The plane will fly from Greece to JASDF Matsushima Base in Miyagi Prefecture arriving on March 20, where the torch will be welcomed by school children from several local towns like Ishinomaki . This starting point is obviously chosen because this area was severely hit by the Tsunami in 2011.

There's no further info in the article on if the aircraft is going to be used with this livery for regular commercial flights.
