Cabin Cams on B789

See the pic in the below link for reference.

In the lower righthand corner there is a monitor with what appears to be feed from cabin cams, e.g., outside the cockpit door.

Is this standard on the 787 or an option?
Where are cams placed? Does it vary by airline?
Does Boeing offer this on other aircraft?
Does Airbus offer this? If so, on which aircraft?

Very common, and on many different aircraft. Usually to monitor the areas of heightened security and varies by operator and equipment.

Any more specifics are best not discussed on a public forum

It is an option on ATRs, most customers take it these days. I'm pretty sure I've seen it on all E-jets I've been on.

They typically cover the cockpit entrance so you can identify who wants to enter before opening the door.
