Thought this was interesting. Royal Air Maroc will fly a one-time Marrakech to Miami instead of Casablanca specifically on January 26 (MIA-RAK) and February 2 (RAK-MIA). Both operated with the 788.
Could they be testing the route? Or is this a ferry flight to station aircraft? Reservations aren't available so it sounds like the latter. Has anyone heard anything?
With RAM joining Oneworld this year and applying for codeshare with American Airlines, could a transatlantic Marrakech flight into one of AA's hubs be viable?

I doubt it’d be a viable flight as AT doesn’t use RAK as a hub so it’s highly unlikely that they’d expand transatlantic from there especially to a relatively new destination such as MIA. I don’t think there’s enough USA-RAK demand to sustain that. I do hope that CMN gets stronger and we see an increase to daily at some point.

RAK is where most American tourists going to Morocco go, not Casablanca. There probably is demand for a RAK flight, from NYC of course, not Miami.
