Streamlining of the product line, maybe?

The Global series is built at Downsview, I wonder if it’s about future production location. Not a lot to streamline, 3 models.

First, Viking owns the rights to that line.

Second, the announcement is about the Global product series. My guess is it has to have something to do the future production site and/or future of the program.

I guess that kills the idea they are going to leave the Business Jet Market as well.

Given BBDs epic management track record - it probably means they'll announce it in a few weeks after committing the funding to the factory.

Well, looks like the end of one very popular spotting site at YYZ... seems that the new facility will go next to FedEx on Derry Rd, where the firing range used to be, where "FedEx hill" used to be, and seems will eradicate any views from the end of Bramalea spotters use.

Think of all the “green” Globals you can spy on

Given how busy YYZ is, I'm surprised this is being allowed, although Fokker had its FAL at AMS.

There’s not much flying done at a FAL once flight zero is finished, the plane goes to Dorval for completion. Downsview probably impacted Pearson more than moving the FAL there. Downsview was 90⁰ to the final for the 24s at Pearson and hard to coordinate arrivals.
