Aeroflot's New Business Class For Its A350 Features Doors

Tue Dec 10, 2019 5:17 am

Honestly, this looks amazing and is a huge improvement from their 2-2-2 Business Class.

Additionally, they have a new Premium Economy Class seat. This seat reclines entirely in contrast to its current fixed-shell Premium Economy.

Looks good!! i see they kept a 3-3-3 for Y, not a bad move since everyone is moving towards 3-4-3 in Y

I don't think everyone's moving to the 3-4-3 in Y for the A350. The only airlines that do feature 3-4-3 in the A350 are LCC's like Air Caraibes I believe.

You may have confused the A350 with the 777.

Looks great! It is a huge upgrade from their current hard product. What routes will see the A350?

It'll inaugurate with Moscow to JFK on March 29, 2020.

Beijing, Seoul, and Miami will switch to the A350 in the following months.

Is the door on Aeroflot’s new seat higher than that of the Club World Suite or Delta One Suite?

Any plans to switch SVO-LAX to the A350?

Thanks.

Would love to see it on SVO-LAX. Currently we get a combination of 77W during summer and A332 during winter.

Any plans on putting this new hard product on the 77W/A330s?

Everybody seems to love suites with doors, I tried DL's A350's Delta One last month and really dislike the feel of being enclosed in such a tiny space.

Fortunately you are free to leave them open.

A huge upgrade to the current seats. Gotta say the color palette is a stunner as well (from the looks of it it's the Thompson Vantage, so the same as the Delta One Suites). I can't wait to see real pictures too (btw the link is dead for me).

Also, regarding the 777s at least it looks like they're getting retrofitted. I would assume the same seats will be used

I agree, I felt fairly claustrophobic in Qatar's QSuite. Each to their own, and as you say you can choose to keep the door open.

I was going to ask if they were Thompson Vantage, as they look really similar to the DL One suites. And I totally agree on the colors - this may be one of my favorite new interiors I've seen in awhile. Kudos to SU for upping their game!

Looks like Delta's Russian Cousin, exact copy of Delta seating. Not a surprise since they are both Skyteam.

I'd agree with the comments above. Color palette looks beautiful; very sophisticated and luxe. Both J and W look like SU spins on DL hard products (which isn't a bad thing).

OK but both are publicly offered products (and pretty good ones in their respective classes at that), and Delta is far from the first airline to use them, soo..

Looks great. Does anyone know for sure what model seat that is? I see people mentioning Thompson Vantage but it looks more like a Stelia model to me from the side table setup, though I don’t recall ever seeing them with doors before.

Looks like Thompson Vantage XL to me. Stelia Solstys seats have open footwell on the isle seats. I haven't actually seen/heard of any Stelia J seats with door in any airlines, happy to be proven wrong though.

The premium economy seat looks like United's, which is actually pretty good. And the business class looks stellar! Way to go Aeroflot!
When wasn't America great?

It’s the same seat Delta and American use for PE.

Big upgrade. Aeroflot had the same PE seats as Air France which were those annoying seats that were in a hard shell so when you tried to recline your seat just slid forward.

You may be right. It also looks a bit like this Jamco prototype:
