No it will be the third longest for QF9. ON 18 April 2019 QF9 clocked in at 18hrs and 15 mins and the 19th April 2019 at 18hrs20mins.
Yes the crew would have anticipated the extra flight time, I would also imagine a few seats would have been blocked to account for the extra flight time

so now i know the longest timed flight but let's ask the other way around the shortest flight time ?surely on QF10 flight ou was it a QF9 flight? ,

so now i know the longest timed flight but let's ask the other way around the shortest flight time ?surely on QF10 flight ou was it a QF9 flight? ,
I will need to double check but pretty sure its 15 hrs 24 mins on QF10 last January
