Also, how many 788s are expected this year from the new order?

I recently did an economy flight SFO-MIA on the 763 and I actually think I will miss it. It’s a surprisingly comfortable aircraft in economy.

Any idea why 408 is planned to go directly to Tulsa after clearing customs in Pittsburgh?

Just a guess, but with AA receiving quite a number more A321NEOs in 2020 (20) and 2021 (18), perhaps they want a second station to have delivery and induction capability for this fleet type. An alternative speculation would be that with the MAXs grounded, that fleet is currently not accumulating hours towards heavy maintenance, and will probably not need much for the next couple of years. That would leave manpower at Tulsa without a workload, thus the reason to move some additional workload to Tulsa.

I doubt it. Last AAL fleet A320 was delivered in 2005 to AWE. They didn't get any after the AWE/USA merger, just hung on to their handful of newer frames and all of their older, 1997-99 vintage frames.
I gather the economics on the A21N outstrip the A20N by a good deal, probably a marginal difference in fuel burn, same crew cost (depending on config), and you get more seats.
Expect more and more A21Ns, and probably many A321-XR's, especially to replace the 75/76 platform.

flyboy80 wrote:But what about the LAA 757s? And I thought LUS had some internationally configured 757s at one point they used from PHL? I'm probably wrong and maybe thinking the 767s. I do know that at one point LAA had a sizable fleet of domestic 757s...remember flying one from DFW to PDX in the early 2000s.

Are aircraft losing big sheets of paint already?

EX HP 757 fleet is gone, LUS 757’s operate with a domestic first cabin. They fly routes such as PHX-LIH/DFW/PHL/CLT, etc.

The 738 in the picture was delivered with the new livery. Very possibly this was some type of defect in preparation or materials.

How long is it expected that AA will continue these 757 services from PHX? Particularly DFW?

- N979AN is currently in TUL for the Oasis mod but it will be the first 737 with the additional changes to First Class which were announced several months back. N955NN is also in TUL for this mod and it is the first B738 with in-seat AVOD to get Oasis.
- N870NN ferried DFW-TUL 1/6 and N915NN (TWA retro livery) ferried PIT-GSO 1/7 - both are also getting the updated version of the 737 Oasis cabin.

Is N955NN definitely loosing seatback IFE?

Also, the CR9 count is one fewer than Q3. One, single Mesa frame withdrawn or delay in new deliveries from BBD?
