It looks like ANA's next three 787-9s have been assigned N-numbers registered to Being (N868BA, N871BA, N873BA). Does anyone have more info on these frames? Has delivery been rescheduled as part of ANA's new order? Corona Virus?

While searching online for a picture of another airframe, I came across a flickr user who took very recent, really great pictures of various scrap yards throughout the US. While looking through some of them I found this one:

That is a nose section of a 787 in Marana. As far as I know LN 5 is the only one that was ever scrapped. Does anyone know to which frame this one belongs and what the purpose of it is? Could they be testing how to recycle composite materials? May it be a part of one of the fatigue/static test frames? Because LN 5 did have a different color scheme. Or are my eyes betraying me and that is not a nose section of a 787?
Any answer would be highly appreciated. And sorry for going a little bit of topic.

Doubt it; 767 nose has a much more even taper to it.

It doesn’t have its nose cone, take a 767 picture and put it up side by side. Perfect match IMO, especially you look up production section 41 images that don’t feature the node cone. I’m open for discussion.

IMHO, the cockpit windows are closer to 787 than 767.

Can be expect that this airframe will be the first 787 sporting the SkyTeam livery????

I suspected to see a KLM there too but it might be around the corner.

Is this the last 789 for AF or does the white paint indicate that this frame will go to KLM ?
