Don’t know why the delay, but LN1639, N2250U was finally successfully delivered to UA on 30DEC. A 78J, N14011, was also successful in delivery to UA the say day.. These were, I believe, the last two deliveries of their type for 2019.

The next 777-300ER, L/N 1641, BOC Aviation, Lsd China Southern ??, seems to be pictured for the first time on the Everett fuelling pad, see third aircaft (front to back) at the LH side of the December 27th 2019 Everett overview picture of Matt Cawby's Paine Field blog : http://www.paineairport.com/images/fl20191227.jpg (click for larger picture)

Can't be, China Southern still have one more Boeing 777-300ER on order. Due delivery in Jan 2020. If I remember it was a BOC aircraft but this seem's to be a mistake..

The tail does look very like a CSN liveried 777. In fact I can almost swear it is a CSN 777.

Not too uncommon for Boeing to build 777s early these days (sans 777X)

That is definitely a China Southern tail livery and if the frame is due for delivery this month, makes sense it is at the Fuel Dock since they will want to do the fuel-system related work in preparation for the B and C flights and painting.

Easy to check here

http://www.boeing.com/commercial/#/orders-deliveries

It was 24 , including the 2 for KLM, at the end of November. Several of those are unlikely to be built.

Thanks for the link!

After looking at the list I think the only orders still standing is the Aeroflot and the KLM order?

Also BA are getting 4 more, via a leasing co. Plus another 777LR for Turkmenistan.

From what I've read before, they are due Q3 2020 to Q1 2021. Possibly the last 77W's to be built.

Just the usual internal UA rumor mill.... so possible but not so probable ( and I’m quite annoyed at myself not catching that ‘for’ typo.)

Four deliveries for the 777-300ER in December.

ANA - 1
Swiss - 1
United - 2

Unfilled orders at year end stand at 20, according to Boeing figures released today ;

Aeroflot - 3
BOC - 3
KLM - 2
Novus for British - 4
Pakistan - 5
United - 2
Unidentified - 1

No cancellations or conversions.

So the 777 Classic backlog is as good as depleted, and it will take at least another year or so before the 777X starts delivering. Boeing will have to build a lot of gliders to keep the line running.
Good moaning!

They still have 53 freighters on the orderbook. Should be mostly them that are built in 2020.

I think it's safe to say the BOC frames are for CZ, the unidentified is the 2nd 77L for Azerbaijan and the PIA ones are not that likely to be built.

The total of 20 is for the 777-300ER only so excludes the Azerbaijan frame. The last delivery for CZ came out of the Unidentified total.

You can see it in the background parked at the fuel dock on his blogspot from 17 Jan.

Go to November 26th 2019 and you will find the same photo with the same aircraft . It is an archive photo . Matt Cawby does it from time to time when he wants to post an update but hasn't caught the plane

In other words, it may be conceivable that for a period, the ONLY passenger Boeing model that is being produced straight for delivery is the 787.

That is stunning.

One 777-300ER delivery in January for United.

Unfilled orders at the end of January stand at 19, according to Boeing figures released today ;

Aeroflot - 3
BOC - 3
KLM - 2
Novus for British - 4
Pakistan - 5
United - 1
Unidentified - 1

No cancellations or conversions.

There's still no sign of AZAL's second 777-200LR?

I believe that L/Ns 1639, 1641 and 1643 have been delivered so the only -300ER in the firing order is 1648, the last for United.

first time poster, decade plus lurker

Are we sure *is* a second LR for AZAL? I've seen it asserted as fact many times here, but have not seen an official source. The only LR listed on Boeing orders page is for Turkmenistan. Maybe Boeing would build a -F or -300ER on the promise of a order, but this is harder to believe for a 200LR.

Welcome, congrats on first post!

Honestly I have no idea. I'm also speaking on the assumption that they should get a second one after what other members posted in these forums and on Twitter.

They already have one in their fleet, which has not even flown since delivery back in December.

Next at the 777 firing order :

L/N 1649 B777F CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINES CARGO (WF028?)

In spring 2019 China Southern Airlines converted two Boeing 777-300ERs firm orders to 777-200LR Freighters. (scheduled delivery 2020)
These two 777-300ERs are from an October 2017 order for eight that were scheduled for delivery between 2019 and 2020.
L/N 1649 is the first China Southern Cargo 777F of this converted order.

A few hours after this reply the following picture of a China Southern B777F in building 40-25 emerged on Matt Cawby's Paine Field blog :
