New Rolls Royce Engines.

Is it a higher thrust variant for the 319t A350-1000 perhaps?

According to Twitter the A35K that was in Iqaluit had a different engine inlet in N2.

A possible thrust increase to 100.000 lbs is possible.

Interesting.

I wonder why though, the A350 doesn't really need a high thrust variant, does it?

For the current MTOW versions probably not but for the new 319 ton variant probably its a positive feature overall. Performance wise this can attract to some current or possible future clients.

Is it possible to remove the 3 side slip vanes on delivered frames? Will airlines choose to do so?
Frames starting from MSN 316 already come without them, and MSNs 65, 71, and 299 have them removed during rework before delivery.

Has arrived where? The picture has been taken at TLS, correct?

And sorry for nitpicking: by the time this A350 will be delivered (cabin outfitting will not be done by Airbus but by one of the specialized contractors in HAM, BSL or wherever), Merkel will be already retired. Her present term will end in 2021 and she already announced that she will not run for another term.

Yah she will not be able to fly in it, like Mr. Trump and the proposed AF1.
Is this the only A350VIP Ordered ?

As far as I know, Lufthansa Technik will do the outfitting from April onward, with working progress already in full swing. Also the handover will be in 2020. So "Angie" will fy in it.
The german goverment have three on order. So at least three A350VIP sold

Arrived from final assembly to the flight line.

It should fly soon.

According to the original press release delivery was due in 2020. Hence I assume Merkel will be able to fly on the aircraft.

So while we wait for the first flight, the first photo of the cabin has been revealed! :D

I believe official Delivery will be to Lufthansa Technik and that is where it will likely to get its VIP treatment in HAM.

In storage until EY figures out what to do with them. EY must take the delivery of these five as they are too way down the production before they could cancel the whole A350 order. Cancelling these five will risk big penalty which they don't have cash to pay lessor/Airbus. These five couple with few more with HNA Group are looking for new owners (assuming EY doesn't want to fly them themselves).

Will stay at 10, which equates to around 110 for the year. Flightglobal are just dividing 110 by 12. Rate10 is less than 120 a year because of holiday shutdown.

It’s not an error. I asked in another delta related thread why delta seems to do that and instead they are trying to figure out what reg it will be instead of actually reading my question and telling them that Flight won’t happen.
