Ryanair could receive its first deliveries of up to 10 grounded 737 MAX aircraft from Boeing by April, the airline's chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs said.
But Mr Jacobs cautioned that the timing was dependent on regulators.

A second ex-Qatar A333 is also expected to arrive, again acting as a replacement for one of the current frames.
These are of course in addition to the *new* A333s due to enter service this year, these are still expected to be final passenger A330ceo’s built by Airbus.

Interesting - so a net gain of two units? Must be done new destinations on the horizon?

A mate of mine got theirs and certainly the material seems better compared to the old uniform. The trousers, jumper and tie for the Men is more comfortable for some compared to the suit.

While many hope it will retain its current retro look, it seems likely that it will be repainted into standard livery.
However, the 85th anniversary is just around the corner and could bring with it an opportunity for a new retro livery.

Not flown T/A saver but expect its like short haul and they will open check in and allow you to select some of the cheap seats (lowest price at back) if there are available for free. Otherwise unless you decide to pay they will allocate seats at the airport check in and this will probably be from back to front of aircraft.

*CORRECTION*
The Head of Social at Aer Lingus social media has confirmed EI-DVM has gone in for repainting but will maintain its retro livery.
We’ll know for sure in just over a week.

I haven’t used EI economy saver but I’m just back from Brazil on BA/IB using economy saver fares and would assume the experience is similar
Both IB and BA had pre- allocated me seats at - 24 online check in , these were good seats for a solo traveller aisle and window . One a 787 or A330 you’re going get an aisle or Window most times. Both allowed me to change seats at the last minute but for a fee ... and it wasn’t worth paying the money . Especially on BA the price was just beyond stupid
There were other seats available down the back for a fee and this is definitely the place to be if you’re a single traveller , the forward cabins were packed with families and crying babies
Based on my experience I would pre book a seat on IB or EI where the fee is reasonable but I wouldn’t pay the outrageous prices on BA . I would always Pre- book a seat on a 777
There aren’t really any bad seats on an A330 if you’re travelling alone . If you don’t like you’re seat just board last and head as far to the back as possible , pretend you’re going the loo or something
