One-stop on a 747 according to this 12/1992 timetable. http://www.departedflights.com/NW121592intro.html

One stop, LAX-NRT-TPE. NRT was the intra-Asia hub for NW.

Yes, it's true. Service was actually inaugurated in either 1988 or 1989, and I've flown on the inbound TPE - LAX on a 747-200, though it was also flown with the 400.

This map is the same age as the PDF and suggests LAX-TPE was served non-stop. At least in June 1992! :)

Semi-related - did NW ever serve KHH? I imagine it would have been around the same timeframe.

Did anyone actually read the timetable provided in the OP link?! It clearly shows that it was operated nonstop on the 747-400, both ways.

LAX-TPE / NW 67 / 130p / 615p / 744 (135)
TPE-LAX / NW 68 / 1145a / 900a / 744 (135)

It's possible it was summer-seasonal and only lasted one year.

Yes. From the mid-90's to the early-2000's. Served by both DC10's, and the short-lived interport A320's.

Correct & if you look a bit further, it's the only 744 operating out of LAX x SYD n/s. Where it flew 3 x weekly also, just alternating dates from TPE. Looks like it was a busy bird all week.

I’m not even sure it made it that long. I’m going off of a fuzzy memory, though.

KHH and KUL were both D10 routes served ex Osaka and I believe were discontinued at the same time around 2000/2002.
