Egyptair A320NEO Questions

Wed Jan 15, 2020 3:22 am

Hello All:

I’ve noticed in the picture of the first A320neo for MS, that it doesn’t have any titles, and that there looks to be off colored paint around the bulk cargo door. There is also another picture out there in which the Tail was covered, however with full Egyptair titles on the other side. Can anybody explain why this is the case?

No idea but I think it’s such a distinctive and confident livery that the titles are largely superfluous.

BTW, am I the only one who would like to see the eye of Horus fall over the cockpit window and the beak down the nose?

They are two different planes. The one without titles is SU-GFJ and the one with is SU-GFK. Don’t know the answer in regards to the paint and why GFJ didn’t get titles.

There are pictures of GFK with the tail covering off and it is normal. I’m guessing the photo you are talking about was taken right after it got out the paint shop and for some reason the covering/masking wasn’t removed yet.
