This is definitely an interesting turn of events... Only thing for sure now is that things will change.

Very interesting indeed. Makes you wonder why now and what changes we can expect ahead.

Maybe they are going to get JQ to resign and find someone more qualified. She seems so out of depth every earnings call. I would be embarrassed of her if I was on the board.

Tphuang you mean JG?

Andrea Lusso has been appointed vice president network planning, reporting to Scott Laurence, head of revenue and planning. In this role, Lusso will oversee the execution of the company’s network strategy through route planning and schedule planning. He joined JetBlue in 2012 and has held various roles in marketing and route planning, and his expertise has helped maximize both revenue and operational efficiency. Lusso is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and also earned his Master of Business Administration from New York University. He is a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor.

New guy in charge of route planning as well.

Lusso seems like a sharp guy, and worked under Laurence when he held the role too. Glad to see them both moving upwards.

“After a thorough and thoughtful review process, our board adopted revised guidelines, including limits on tenure and an age-based retirement threshold, to assure the independence and objectivity of our board,” said Joel Peterson, chair of JetBlue’s board.

Peterson and Sica are 68+. Gemkow is not. Age limits for Directors and CEOs aren't rare for U.S. public companies.

Certainly is indicative of some change taking place at JetBlue.

Why now? Was under the impression things were um “peachy” at Blue and had been so for 20 years now.
Aesthetically the A 340 got it right!

I don’t think it is a coincidence that Robert Leduc is the former President of Pratt & Whitney. May be a good move considering A321neo/LR deliveries are powered by Pratt. Also, I agree, it’s time for Joanna to go.
