I was on a DL A350 from ATL-ICN and ICN-DTW in the last 2 weeks. What a great plane. Comfortable and very smooth. The one thing I did notice on the DL plane, the crew rest was the last 3 seats in the center section of the plane. It was not an isolated area with beds. I thought that was a bit cheap of DL for the crew.

I believe AF's first 787 was #500 off the line as well.

Doubt the manufacturer or airline really cares. Outside of the airline world it's not as if deliveries are a big deal. It's a photo op, a press release, then on to the next one

Is the MSN #381 Air France, delivered on 12-Feb-2020, not either the 352nd or 353rd A350 delivered to a customer?
On 12-Feb-2020, two have been delivered, the 40th delivered A350-1000 for British Airways and the 313rd A350-900 for Air France. These are the numbers according A380 boards.
As the BA has had the delivery flight few h post the AF, the AF A350 shall be the number 352.

Just like July 8th, 2007 was for the 787 roll-out: symbolic numbers that have nothing more than a PR purpose.

No, not cheap. There are bunks for the crew that must have been
Inoperative and that is why you saw what you did.

I thought the last row was often assigned day of or left empty. Perhaps the crew had access to the seats in addition to the rest area? I’d imagine that the seats are easier to access and that rest time is designated with some downtime between services to be in seats.
