Inbound aircraft to SJC with landing gear emergency

Fri Feb 28, 2020 7:42 pm

I am on a flight departing SJC that just parked before taxi. Pilot has announced an inbound aircraft is coming in on emergency with landing gear trouble. He also said they are going to foam the runway and they are not sure how long we will be shutdown. I have no other details. Hopefully this is all precautionary and it’s an uneventful landing.

This happened a few hours ago, and it created a lot of ops challenges. Full ground stop, foam on one of the runways not sure which, and the plane missed the foam upon landing). This was a private plane, I believe it was N304A based on data I could gather. There are a few videos on Twitter, and everyone appeared Ok. I’m now back in the air on the way to my originally scheduled destination.

That slapped down hard, and with no gear too. I hope that pilot's seat was well cushioned!

What is the YouTube link for this video? I can't get it to play on my Commodore Amiga Dell Desktop with Microsoft XP!
