This morning I got up to news, TK now only flying to 14 domestic destinations.
SAW is closed, Pegasus suspends all flights.
Please correct me if this info is incorrect.
Be safe.

It's correct that SAW is closed to all flights. From IST (and if I understood it correctly, from ESB) there will be flights to 14 airports (inc. IST & ESB). Some "important" destinations seem to be deliberately excluded such as Dalaman, Bodrum-Milas and Ordu-Giresun. However, TK wants the pax to provide them with a "Travel Permit" document, which may not be readily obtainable, certainly not for the elder (65+) citizens. So I can guess that these limited domestic flights will not be very frequent ones per destination, anyway. :!: :?:

-Thanks for the details. It seems like a scene from distant movies like "Brasil" or "1984".... to get a "travel permit" from information retrieval offices :(
-Just saw this; last TK JFK-IST flight landed at Ankara and 241 pax (including Foreign nationals besides the Turks) are taken to the city of Kastamonu to a college dormitory for 14 days of quarantine. I hope they were told about this before getting on the flight.

Looking at TK's schedule, it looks like all aircraft bar the 737-800s and the A330-300s will be grounded until at least April 17th (if I was to guess I'd say they would ground all A333s except one specific frame to operate Izmir?)
