BA2157 just turned full circle but appears to be back on course for ANU, odd?

I wonder if It’s just a data glitch on FR24? It’s not a satellite tracked plane and I wonder how much real coverage there is where the circuit was performed?

A delaying turn for QF11, not common but not unheard of, possibly delay for Indy Crnter.

Potentially running early for its oceanic clearance time? Just a guess.

You can’t enter Shanwick oceanic unless you have a clearance. Based on the location it looks like they didn’t have a clearance or needed spacing. That’s almost exactly where Shanwick Oceanic starts..

That was because JFK was limiting arrivals due to ATC issues. They were evaluating a possible diversion. There were four LAX-JFK flights that did air turn backs to LAX

Would under the current slow traffic not be a problem. Just give them a headsup with the new time and keep going.

You still have to have the required in-trail separation, low traffic count or not. If you can lose the time prior to the ocean fix, yes slow down. But, it doesn’t appear possible here
