As predicted earlier, further relaxation of English travel restrictions announced, hopefully rest of U.K. will follow soon. Only seven countries left on the so called restricted ‘red list’ that require hotel quarantine on arrival from Monday. PCR tests to be replaced by lateral flow test for those vaccinated arrivals later in October. Hopefully this allows some sort of airline recovery but the sooner all tests are dropped the better.

American Airlines, JetBlue, and Alaska Airlines are all joining United Airlines in firing everybody who is unvaccinated as soon as December 8 with no option for testing.

https://www.npr.org/sections/coronaviru ... es-jetblue

American Airlines would be technically going against their union for this as the union has requested for testing to be an option.
