BA 747’s IJ and VB

Sat Apr 04, 2020 3:38 pm

Any ideas where they are going? Currently heading west over the Atlantic, one with the destination of Victorville? Flight numbers 9153 & 9150. Early retirement or repatriation?

CIVB and CIVJ (not "IJ") are showing as heading to Miami on FR24, that's likely to be repatriation not storage or scrapping (assuming that they actually are going to MIA - the tracks they left the UK are towards the East Coast and definitely not in the right direction for the West Coast).

Hopefully MIA will follow FLL’s example and have the passengers directly bused to the airplanes.

I flew CIVB about a year ago. The economy cabin didn't look a year over 20 years old.
