UIA to LHR instead of LGW

Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:01 pm

Hi,

Any idea why Ukraine International Airlines flew to LHR instead of LGW on Wednesday 29th April? My first thought was that LGW had closed due to lack of demand, but FR and B2 managed to operate their flights to Dublin and Minsk...

a few of the cargo handling agents have closed at LGW so some airlines are having to temporarily switch

Ah, I see. Thank you. Which other airlines have had to switch from LGW to LHR during the current situation?

Other airlines like CI/CX have pulled the flights, most have just pulled the flights forcing the handling sheds to close

Alongside Belavia & Ryanair, Gatwick have still been getting flights from Sofia & Budapest with Wizz Airlines (I've had dealings with said flights this week).

Vueling have also been bringing in an Algiers flight (not sure of frequency I'm afraid, but also dealt with it earlier this week)

And Jazeera Airways have been operating flights too as well (again not sure of frequency)
