Boeing 767 Freighter prototype info

Tue May 12, 2020 3:55 pm

Hi!

I am looking for references on the Boeing 767-300 Freighter prototype, specifically high-quality photos, and most importantly, its registration, for a model project. The aircraft I am looking for was painted in the blue-red stripes Boeing house colours, and just a very low quality image of it exists online.

Any ideas?

Many thanks!

Can't find a decent picture. Aircraft was c/n 27239 / 580 N301UP, f/f Jun 20, 1995. Don't think it had a test registration.
I'm not going on a Boeing

Indeed for some reason there are no decent pictures of it.
But having the correct registration was my main concern. Thanks UA947!

I'm sure that Boeing has a history office. Why not contact them and ask if they have (and can make available) a picture?

Boeing archives might be able to help...

I searched a bit on this and I think it's most likely this aircraft flew in (old) UPS livery since first flight. The test phase was not very long and they didn't tour the Aviation airshows wiht it. The picture of a cargo 767 in Boeing colours was probably a CGI.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?
