No word on the parked planes of SkyWest, Republic or Piedmont.

Skywest received some new flying for AA as Eagle flying will be back to LAX following the demise of Compass.
OO will be using CRJ700s starting slowly, but by July almost a dozen routes to be operated by OO.

So is the plan to have OO CR7s restart up the LAX Eagle operation? Or will Envoy go to LAX eventually?

The latest OO earnings mention they don’t expect the 20 new E175 to be arriving for awhile now.

Question to anyone with info:
Are these replacing PSA's CRJ's currently flying? Or is this in addition to those?

The OO CR7s are filling the void in LAX for now.

Skywest will handle all the LAX flying, probably some fly through by Mesa's CRJ's.

Envoy doesn't have maintenance support on the west coast outside of contract outstation maintenance, it makes AOG aircraft recoveries expensive (time and money).

Until that changes, I can't see Envoy doing any LAX flying.

What will probably happen: Envoy will take more ORD flying from Skywest and Skywest will transfer that capacity to LAX. Not sexy, but likely.

This is not replacing PSA flying.

Highly unlikely you'll see YV CR9s at LAX again. From my memory none of the gates are striped for them any more at the Nest and only two at T5. Also, the YV operation really struggled last time they were in LAX due to the MX supportability issue.

Its also worth noting that Mesa has been mostly shown the door in PHX, they are only running 2-3 flights/day for May and June.

As far as ORD, I would speculate you are right there, ORD has always underperformed for OO compared to the rest of their operation and while it did get better recently, it plays to their strengths to bulk up farther West while Envoy succeeds in ORD. Not sure if PSA is still in play to add more flying at DFW and ORD as that would change things as well.

Piedmont reported internally that they are ramping back up in July. The only way this all works in my opinion is if YV is shown the door completely. OO would cover LAX and PHX plus their DFW flying (and maybe a little expansion to cover for YV), MQ expands in DFW to cover for YV and ORD to cover for OO, and OH expands more into ORD and DFW while PT covers some flying out of CLT, DCA and PHL.

Those E175s being mentioned will likely take over when they actually show up to OO in a few years.

I don't see YV being shown the door completely, probably ever. They are the cheapest lift AA has and Doug's wife is a major shareholder.

SkyWest said they are delayed from the factory.. late this year but most likely early 2021 they said... And they are still adding 7-700’s to the Eagle fleet..

Do you have a source for Doug's wife being a major shareholder?

No, the 700s will back fill DCA CR2 flying.

Probably not. This sounds like a major conflict of interest....

What is the status of the Envoy E-140’s?

I was under the impression that roughly half were done for good now, so 20-25 would remain

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Piedmont (or even Envoy) come in with more 145 flying. A good number of the PSA 200 routes simply can’t sustain a 700. Increasing the 700s at DCA would take them from CLT and PHL, which is always a possibility, but then Piedmont would have to swing in and fill those -700 routes with 145s.

Piedmont will back fill some of the flying sure, but a lot of the 200 flying out of DCA should have been operated with at a 700. There are quite a few markets I know of, it was embarrassing to have a 200 on it.

25 x E140 are currently in service with Envoy out of DFW. 28 are in storage at MZJ and five remain at ABI.
