JAL 747 vertical takeoff from LAX.

Can you tell me why this JAL 747 is takeing off from LAX vertically I mean airliners don't usually takeoff vertically with passengers on board?

It's not. It's taking off as normal its just an illusion. The photographer is at the right distance and angle from the aircraft's rotation.

EDIT: The question was answered in the photo's comments too.

No, it's an illusion image. The small plane always flying over LAX patterns all the time so it is good timing photo taken 747 took off its amazing photo ever! It's normal angle take off but it doesn't vertically angle. LOL
