What will the next series of registration be?

I see there's TC-LSV and TC-LSZ to be delivered in the future along with TC-LTA, so it should be TC-LT*. Does anyone know why there isn't a TC-LSI?

I had problems with TK dropping my in-laws' rescheduled reservations twice! They kept dropping the IAH-IST leg of an IAH-IST-ODS itenerary. I called up the TK support line for the US, and they said it hadn't been completed by Orbitz. That's strange, because the updated travel documents I received from Amadeus via Orbitz said they were "confirmed." My father in law talked to a friend of his in Brooklyn, and he said they had the same problem with tickets they bought directly from TK for a JFK-IST-ODS itenerary dropping the JFK-IST leg.

I called up Orbitz again and told the agent that the TK reservation system kept bumping my in laws off the IAH-IST flight. He called TK management, and got them to reinstate the ticket again. So far I haven't received any messages about any unwanted itenerary changes, so I hope the issue is permanently fixed. I just can't figure out why it happened.

Turkish Airlines approved a codeshare agreement with Pakistan International Airlines. It means PIA passengers will be able to travel onboard Turkish Airlines aircraft to Birmingham, U.K.; London; Milan, Italy; Barcelona; Copenhagen, Denmark and Oslo, Norway via Istanbul Airport in addition to the destinations covered by the existing agreement.

I noticed for the past week that all planes flying to the east (around Turkey) are going +/- 200km/h faster than planes heading west. For example a KLM B777 and TK B777 are passing each other in opposite directions. KLM going back to base with 776km/h speed and TK going 1033hm/h to Bishkek.

Also noticed multiple a.c trailing eachother going going at the same speed or/ at the same altitude: a TK, KL and UL at 11,582m. And 5 from KBP all going the same direction, at the same altitude. 10,668. Very interesting.

Turkish Airlines will implement deep pay cuts. It won’t lay off any employees but the cuts are really huge and don’t seem to be temporary.

I don't think it is a done deal yet. They are still negotiating with the unions.
Still, I am sure there will be heavy cuts, rollbacks, just like any company in the world.
I know from my immediate circle, for some lucky people that got to keep their jobs, most pay raises are taken back, in NYC.
Some executive wage cuts are around 20%. Tough times ahead for all :(

According to Eurocontrol, the week ending July23rd:
-TK is number 2 airline in Europe, behind Ryanair, in terms of aircraft movements, and
-IST is the number 2 airport, behind CDG.
