Eyes at the relevant OEM facilities will respond quickly.

If you are looking to calculate how many aircraft A (+B) are funding, not a hope in hell. Both are deferring milestone payments to avoid triggering bigger issues for customers. Pre-shipment finance has dried up (the industry was already short of cash with MAX). Take out finance for ready to deliver aircraft is almost non-existent. Again, to avoid technical defaults, OEM's are offering / underwriting post-shipment finance for delivery to blue chip. Ditto for the rest, but those aircraft go into OEM-controlled storage. For customers who have taken the turnkey option, A+B are funding engines, though increasingly we might see aircraft flying to storage, and then engines removed for further ferries. A & B must be close to moratoriums preventing customers from cashing in credits.

Amidst all this, some are still actually funding their aircraft, after increased CAF's, and re-negotiation of retrospective credits (upwards). Cash is king.

The financial matters will be a sticky situation.

I have my own estimates on when new aircraft will be needed, I would like to know how many are ready for delivery in order to estimate the resale value of used Aircraft.

I'm more interested in the available A320 family aircraft. Mostly as widebodies are so over-supplied... I just want to know the magnitude.

Wait a minute, there is a summary:

Boeing delivered 0 787s in May. With the production rate still being high, there must be an inventory of some 20 787s. If not more.

And then there are the NTU aircraft.

As I have seen/identified: DELTA is not taking up any Airbus jets, neither in Mobile, Toulouse nor Montreal. So many DELTA jets are now parked and ready to be taken up. Other US Airlines as AA, Spirit or Hawaiian Airlines are still regular taking up planes in Mobile.

AirCanada is regular taking up planes /A220.

Egypt Air has recently taken up planes (A320) in Toulouse. So there is possibly a COVID-19 travel issue between Canada and Egypt. So EgyptAir is willed to take up planes.

I took a decent look at the last 10-Q filing. It show Commercial Airplane inventory value, speaks a lot to circumstances of MAX delayed deliveries, but I didn't find an aircraft count, and certainly not ready-for-delivery by type.

I know that ERF is used for storage by Airbus. On a photo from a Erfurt ballooning club at Facebook I count 23 A32X in different airline colours.

At least in this Facebook post from Erfurt Airport they are still on the German register. But I was told by someone near the airport that there is activity, e.g. sometimes one of the planes leaves and another one arrives.

Just go to "AIBfamily" flights page, folder: flights, ferried flights and you can see all the flights "After storage" and "For storage". The flights are accordingly marked.

You don't pay for an aircraft (and get the title) if you can't fly away unless there is a cabin fitting agreement or similar in place. But taking delivery without being present and letting the manufacturer store it somewhere should be out of the question.

Airbus has now fast increased the numbers of deliveries. They had few deliveries in May but since around 05-Jun-2020, the numbers are fast rising.

A few of them were already delivered on contract, for example MSN 9210 for Capital Airlines, which is stored in ERF.

But how many have physically been delivered versus stored? For those physically delivered, how many have Airbus received the full (or even partial) delivery milestone payment? For how many has Airbus (or related parties) had to finance the delivery milestone payment (or take out the pre-shipment finance)?

Canada requires visitors to commit to a 14 day quarantine. The EgyptAir delivery crews my be waiting this out for any acceptance flights before taking delivery. Regarding Delta; there are now Airbus planes, ready to be taken up, parked in Hamburg, Toulouse, Montreal and even in Mobile, USA. They taken up the last plane in Mar-2020, other airlines like Frontier or AA have taken up planes regular. So Delta is just not willed, to take up any planes now and as long there is an agreement between Airbus and Delta, it will be OK of course.
Regarding EgyptAir: The A220-300 SU-GEX (55058) coming from Cairo, has visited Montreal on 22-Jul-2020 and left again on 24-Jul-2020 on the way to Cairo (over Dublin). So the Egypt air crews are now since last Wednesday in Montreal.
55081 has performed the Customer acceptance flight on 23-Jul-2020, 55087, the second flight on 24-Jul-2020.

The devil is in the detail. Of those delivered, how many are stored under the control of the OEM and / or financiers? Of those delivered, how many have had milestone payments deferred, discounted or re-financed by the OEM or related parties?

According to German sources Airbus is apparently starting from Augusts to also rent 15 parking bays at BWE in order to park undelivered Aircraft, since they are running out of space at other airports. Furthermore it is stated that currently 22 ACs are parked at ERF, 14 at RLG and 3 at DRS all in addition to the parked aircraft at the Hamburg factory.

Interesting that two B747F remain undelivered, I thought there was a shortage of cargo a/c. Quite a sizeable fleet of perfectly flyable a/c doing nothing.

PS quite amazing to realize that. (with. the exception of the 737MAX of course (currently 423 waiting to be delivered) there are around 200 a/c to be delivered while on. January first there were only 28 a/c.

So in total 56x commercial jets have been delivered in Jul-2020 and one A330 MRTT.
3x A220-300; 50x A320 family and 3x A350 (+1x A330 MRTT).

These are excellent numbers now for Airbus in COVID-19 times. The number of 53 smallbodies is good and shall be higher than the up to date production rate (around 3 to 4 A220/month and 40 A320 family/month). That only 4 widebodies have been delivered (and of them one military) is not good /2x A330 and 6xA350 per month). Seems, airlines are willed to take up sb but not/much less wb (as expected).
