It's a pity they didn't simply go back to the smart blue + gold livery they had pre-FlyBe (top pic). That was solid and eye-catching and I liked the small details like the gold engine spinners and the stylised seagull - it made a meaningful link with their Island home. This new scheme seems very bland and nondescript to me.

Agreed .. that livery was really nice. (Side note: its hard to make an ATR look good anyway, though .. that is such an ugly plane).

I like the new logo and font. But they should have stuck with a blue underbelly.

It's so Eastern (UK), SAS, Polar, and Lufthansa-a-like. Could even be a decommissioned FedEx ATR. Is everyone just doing blue tails on white fuselages now ?

Except that SAS's livery isn't blue on white, but blue on grey

Fair point but that's a matter of perception too. My point being it's similarity to all these other designs.

They are similar, I agree. Especially Eastern Airways and Blue Islands are very close.
