The new livery is simple, featured with Eurowhite and the Yellow-Blue scheme from its parent carrier, Vietnam Airlines.
How do you think about this livery?

It's terribly unexciting.

What is the blue/orange/white Y thing? Is it meant to be a corner of box? If so, it's suitable for a courier... not an airline.
I only turn left when boarding aircraft. Well, mostly. All right, sometimes. OH OKAY - rarely.

Reminds me of Cubana Airways. But it’s not the worst livery I’ve seen. Orange and blue are a nice combo.

Not the worst but terribly generic looking. It looks like the kind of generic airline livery (and name for that matter) you see in the background of an action movie.

I think the Y thing is a part of its logo.

Too much Eurowhite. Dull and uninspiring.

Is this still supposed to be a LLC? This branding looks like they're aiming more for a full-service carrier.
Very uninspired & corporate. Not as vibrant as I'd paint the Pacific to be.

Extremely boring. Should have gone with brighter variations on those colors to start.

Yes, it is a LCC.
(but unfortunately the tickets are not cheap, LOL)

Not terrible, but it would look a lot better with billboard titles to cut the eurowhite a bit.
Picked a hell of a week to quit sniffing glue.

Absolutely bland and forgettable...
I wonder when people will understand:
Embraer 190 or simply E190, not ERJ-190. E-Jets are NOT ERJs!
Boeing 747-8, not Boeing 747-800. Same goes for 787.
Airbus A320, not Airbus 320.
Airbii does not exist.

I like it, to be honest! I do think the old livery looks better, however, it is very cool to see Pacific Airlines go back to their roots. I did like the original livery that was painted on a few 737s, though most aircraft wore either albino liveries or hybrids like U-Land Airways colors during the Pacific Airlines days in the past.

The re-branding has created some interesting hybrids for Asian spotters at the moment:

The livery looks like that of a chemical company. The only I can say I like is the font of its word mark.

Tedious and dull, no imagination went into that whatsoever, and it barely resembles VN's wonderful livery at all. Fortunately any BL aircraft spotted in Vietnam will be broken up by VN, VJ and QH liveries which are all very good.

Totally agree. Looks like logo for a nondescript manufacturing company.

It looks businesslike and professional, which maybe isn't a bad thing for them. Definitely not screaming, "Look at me!!", but I'm guessing that wasn't what they wanted.

Still trying to understand how is this livery "inspired by VN's brand colors and design". Unless blandness is what they're going for :duck:

The blue-yellow (actually orange) was taken from VN. BL's livery also uses the same "designing language" with VN, including the familiar multi-chevron logo (three vertical stabilizers vs the lotus), same branding position on the fuselage:

Obviously those 2 liveries came from the designer :rotfl:
