Question About Finnair JFK-HEL Schedules
It looks like the Finnair nonstop between JFK and HEL departs at 11:50pm daily. As far as I recall, it was always a late afternoon departure from JFK. Any reason why the schedule has shifted? Is it because there are fewer connections now with COVID19 or aircraft utilization has changed? Lately, the flight shows it is an A359. It usually was an A330.

Due to Corona these flights operate as cargo only flights. No passengers have been transported between JFK and HEL since the spring.
When Corona first struck China, AY initially decided to move capacity to the JFK route, and they added a rotation AY15/16 to the schedule, that was an evening / late night departure. Apparently they have decided to use this later schedule for these cargo flights now.

Finnair had originally planned to operate JFK 2 daily this year for the first time and both AY005/6 and AY15/AY16 was supposed to be the new later flight.
