LA Times - Expose on fume events

Fri Dec 18, 2020 6:31 pm ... 0col1-main

This is good long-form journalism that does a deep dive into fume events on airliners. It makes the conclusion that not enough is being done to prevent widespread harm to passengers and crew.

What do you think? Fume events certainly occur, but are exceptionally rare. The LA Times suggests that they are only rare because they are underreported, and in fact are more common.

Are we "slowly being poisoned?"
