When searching for flights from Oslo to New York, I notice that on 7th of July it says SAS flight SK907 is scheduled as an A350-900. Will that happen? I thought they planned SK907 with the A321LR. Will it be allowed for Norwegian’s to travel to the US without quarantine and how about the return trip?
Yes that will happen. The 321LR launch is postponed. OSLEWR was communicated to be reopened on the 12th of may, with A330 and first flight on July 3rd. The A330 has been swapped to A350 on some departures.
That is really cool
The A350 is one of my favorite airplanes and it’s cool that SAS will start using it from Oslo. Is it permanent or temporary? When will SAS start flying with the A321LR and why are they delayed?
Everything is currently temporary..
The A321LR probably only works when passenger demand is back. The narrowbody can’t bring enough cargo, to cover cost, so it need passengers. Not the same for wide body (when cargo rates are this high)
