Doesn't look like the Chinese frames are going anywhere.

Of course it's all about the "safety concerns" and definitely nothing to do with the current US:China politics. /s

Thanks Woody! Xiamen is a surprise.. Should become B-20DX.
XA-BBB is 7984 for you.
There's 2 Flair's at MWH now, no details on which frames yet.
Interesting that the P8 is largely devoid of any markings.

Hi Woody, thanks for the updates :) . I can't keep up with these RYR frames. EI-HGL *possibly* 7992 but that's assuming all the others are in order and those 2 missing yet-to-be-sighted Buzz frames are still holding place. What is the N4027C in the B stalls from your video? Is that EI-HGL with sticker removed?

Looks like the Maltese division getting its own livery. :)

I can fill the Air China reg for you : B-20DS. Maybe the CAAC has told Boeing that they are expecting to lift the ban imminently? Although not seen any signs of life from the stored Chinese frames, except the Lucky Air at VCV last week.

Answered my own question - N4027C looks to be EI-HGG from your twitter.

Is that 169570 I see in the background? Still no sign of the missing 169564? Beginning to wonder if it got written off during transport from Wichita or during assembly? It should have made an appearance last September by my calculations.

That is indeed 169570 on the flight line. No one I've spoken too has seen 169564. I was surprised to see the China frames rolling out. I have heard that China Air Authority have approved test flights to resume before they certify the MAX to resume service.

I was researching the missing P-8 169564 and I can't even locate a first flight using the N# assigned to it. N533DS / A6BBEE - it never showed up in my SBS logs as ever departing Renton.

From a post on a spotting forum I am on, a visit to McConnell IAB last week saw the fuselage tube of 8219, the much talked about missing P-8, as still there with Spirit. It doesn't say why, or if it is damaged.

7984 is XA-BBB. I have photos of it green behind the factory with its line number, also its still at Renton. N115AM is 7895 and been in storage at BFI for almost six months now.

Also here XA-BBB is listed as 7984 as well-

Flew again today as BOE285.

Caymen went up this morning, BOE054 returned from Texas, another Southwest 737-8 (N8810L), BOE045 Southwest 737-8 did a test flight (N8804L), BOE602, XA-IMH flew and finally Boeing 960 returned from Moses Lake in some spectacular light. Will be posting photos soon. It is XA-OCC, Aeromexico 737-8 line 7769. She was originally scheduled to come back yesterday(Wednesday) but scrubbed.

Also Southwest took delivery of N8805L this morning. And that's the Thursday wrap, unfortunately all I got was 45 and 960. I did get 285 on its Wednesday flight.

I saw that it went up along with another flydubai, unfortunately I am not out today as I had to go get my COVID test so I can fly to Hawaii on Monday. So it'll be just Woody with the updates next week. I may go do one last stroll around Renton tomorrow.

That was yesterday's flight wasn't it? I was referring to the 901 on Thursday. I think 901 on Thursday was EI-HEZ that day as it flew with an Irish hex and the same hex was on BOE017 yesterday. Maybe because the flydubai was planned to fly as well which has the same block number, although didn't fly in the end. On Friday they seem to have swapped around with the flydubai using 901 and the RYR using it's proper block.

Were they both wearing their final registration numbers? I checked your twitter but not uploaded yet.

I spotted them on Friday, but I didn't have my camera with me, I just happened to see flydubai on final as RYR taxied out from the freeway as I passed by BFI.

Did anyone see BOE901 1249 to 1324 ?
I saw it on final to BFI - Flydubai A6-FMP flew as BOE901 verses BOE17 since Ryanair EI-HEZ flew using BOE17.

From a friend who was there, Ryanair has a N reg. Not confirmed via photo but I believe flydubai has its permanent reg.

Is Boeing allowed to use the Irish reg for flights before the MAX 200 is certified by the FAA?

I’m aware the FAA unlike EASA doesn’t care if the planes fly under their final reg before delivery but those are certified planes.

I believe to current rate is at or around 5-7 planes a month based on what I've seen roll out.

Looks like Boeing is working on getting the 737-8 200 frames certified. EI-HAT flew a functional flight today.

Yes, I don't think deliveries are too far out. Many of them have been wired up with their Irish hex now judging from the ADSB activity at RNT so they are getting ready to leave. Also the Vietjet moved to stalls is another indicator that the 8200s could be getting signed off imminently.

Things seem to be moving so sloooooooooooowly though :( . Some days there aren't any flights at all. A complete contrast to pre-2019. Going to take them about 10 years to clear the storage frames at this pace.

Now that MAX deliveries have resumed, we have seen BBJ ln #s 7489, 7753, and 7819 flown to GED (which often, but not always, signals delivery), but only 2 deliveries are officially listed by Boeing. Boeing used to give us the date of delivery, not just the month, and we could use the date of the flight to GED to help us figure out which planes were delivered. Now that we only have the month, has anyone figured out a way to determine which of these three is not officially delivered?

737 related, but not MAX related, does any one know the status of line #s 7152 and 7297, which I think are slated for the Polish government and the last -700 BBJ, ln 5749, whose order was apparently cancelled? Any chance this gets converted to a 700W for the UK wedgetail program?

7489 is for sale after the customer cancelled. Stored at SKF still in primer. Never been to GED.
7753 delivered. Original customer cancelled but the customer for a later BBJ frame was moved up to this frame. For a Chinese customer.
7819 delivered. Was cancelled by original customer but now going to (another) Middle East customer.

7152 has been doing pre-delivery equipment tests on the Swedish test ranges. Now back in BOD, delivery imminent.
7297 still undergoing mods.
5749 was "bought" by Boeing after the original customer cancelled. It has been the Boeing CEO private jet since May 2017. Last flew on 5 March BFI-IAD-Gary as RDN410. RDN (Red Barn) is the Boeing corporate callsign.

Awesome thanks Rob!

You are right of course, line 7489 has not been to GED. I meant to write line 7915, the first -9 BBJ which flew to GED 12/18/20.

Could be either 7753 or 7915 then. If I had to bet money I'd say it was 7915 but this is nothing more than a slightly educated guess.

Is there a dedicated topic for testing, like there is on the 777X, where only issues related to testing/certification of the -7, -10, -8200 are discussed. I keep seeing bits & pieces on this topic and in others related to the grounding/RTS, but I haven't found anything dedicated to flight testing the new derivatives. Thanks.

Not that I know of.

I don't think there is enough publicly available information to sustain such a thread.

Thanks! I see from my sheet that is an Air Lease Corp frame, It's the ones from AerCap that appear cancelled.

Your Kunming is 61709 but that's all I have on it.
