Great Ryanair update !
It seems the deliveries are a bit stalling again. I imagined they'd deliver 30-40 each month to clear away the storage fields, but march is very slow so far. About half of the stored aircraft are due for airlines like GOL, WestJet, FlyDubai, TUI, Icelandair who have cleared the type for service, perhaps they don't really want them yet due to Covid19? On the other hand Airbus 320 family deliveries are at full speed and these airlines also don't really need that much capacity on this moment. Any comments?
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Hi. Your data agrees with mine including your maybes for EI-HGI through M.

I don't have reg for 7922 here so that one is unconfirmed from my end. The fact that 7900 and 7904 haven't been seen makes me suspicious.

7926 62321
7965 62325
7976 62326
7992 65081
8000 65875
8003 65874
8019 62328

8013 should be one for the group as well, 65877.

My data beyond 8019 is too sketchy here after seeing the UA B38M reallocations which have replaced numerous Chinese and other operators I had for those LNs.

WestJet don't have any stored.

GOL frames might not be happening. Most of them are via Avolon who have cancelled their order. PR-XMM order was sold/transferred to China Development Bank Fin. from Avolon and has delivered but not sure if that will repeat for the future ones too. There should be a whole load of them in production right now, but I think they've been skipped. GOL was supposed to be taking the Jet Airways frames too but not seen any activity so that might have fallen through.

ICE B39M TF-ICC is being readied in C15 at BFI, B38M TF-ICP is being readied next to it in C16.

WestJet only had one aircraft stored and undelivered. It’s was since delivered last month, C-GWLK. AC on the other hand as about a dozen waiting for delivery.

Thank you for the MSN's and confirming what I suspected. The only reason I have EI-HGH on LN 7922, is I saw it roll out and then 7926 rolled out. Both were unpainted together and then 3 days later EI-HGH showed up and 7926 was still unpainted.

Right. 3 days for a full Ryanair paint job though? Don't they typically take 6 days, based on the usual turn-around times at the remote paint facilities like GEG, ARA? I still wonder about 7900 and 7904.

They usually can paint at RNT in 4-5 days. I just checked my logs.

I spotted 7922 unpainted on 11/21/20, 1/1/21 and painted on 1/16/2021
7926 unpainted on 1/16/21 & painted on 1/28/21
7965 unpainted on 1/28/21 & painted on 2/24/21

OK that would fit better then. I'm still holding off until the missing Buzz frames have been sighted.

BBJ VP-CMA made a functional check flight today from AMAC after mods. Appears that Jet Aviation Business Jets AG will operate it for Brilliant Aviation based on flight plan data.

Another two were brought out of storage and are being prepared for flight operations. Two more are stored at LUZ.
Eight more, undelivered, stored at MWH, SKF and VCV.

ALAFCO has cancelled the order. Unless a different lessor takes them on they won't be happening (4 of the frames are ALAFCO).

Also news that the 8200 model is due for certification shortly so that explains all the RYR activity as deliveries will follow and also the movement of the VietJet into the pre-flight stalls at RNT.

News from China must be imminent too as they wouldn't be building and preparing more frames for flight otherwise.

Any guess when the first UA 737-8, LN8035, might exit FAL? My guess is July at best.

Since they have been selectively loading fuselages and have been rolling our 2-3 per week. I would suspect we should see 8035 around mid to the end of April.

Nice pics Woody. I am left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the livery - it's very bland. It's a bit of hotch-potch of different things that don't work well together imo. The winglets don't match the tail logo design or the fuselage, but I'm finding that the winglets colours are the most interesting thing about it. :/

I wonder if WN are delaying their -8s as they are expecting 3 more in the 7900 block but no sign of them. Checking my records their backlog of completed frames is not far off from being complete. 8 left to deliver with 5 of those in flight testing and 3 still in remote storage.

Copa took their final frame earlier today so that's their backlog now complete, as did the single remaining frame for Cayman. Who is going to be the next airline to leave the nest? Lots of activity around the Neos frames and Aeromexico. Also some sporadic flydubai movements, Blue Air and Icelandair, and of course the imminent sign-off of the 8200 for Ryanair.

I've been told Blue Air YR-MXA has been delivered and should fly away tomorrow.

Any signs of activity around the flydubai frames? They should have 6 MAX 8’s in various stages on site. Their commercial ramp up in May looks to need those frames.

Does anyone know if flydubai will be getting more MAX 9’s? They have 3 which seems to be an odd and low number.

I see WN N8704Q Serial # 36988 @ 410 in route from VCV to DAL at 09:30 MST. I assume WN is getting another Max out of storage and put back into service.

Should have already happened but looks like the frame has been shelved for a later assembly date.

Can you read reg on 7694 Woody ? Based solely on hex decode, it has been N1799B and also N1782B. There's a C-FFEL coming too, but don't know which frame it is yet.

Boeing has no order right now. One day it’ll be a 7k series like number then one in the 8’s. It’s all about who’s ready and that’s the ones Boeing is loading into assembly at Renton right now.

A6-FMK, A6-FML, A6-FMM at BFI. A6-FMN, A6-FMO at VCV. A6-FMP at RNT. A6-FNA still at GSO. I can't remember the reason why the 9s all went through GSO. Maybe for interior mods.

Delivered frames : 3 at BFI (GECAS order/ex Jet), 2 at PAE (Qatar order/Air Italy).

Undelivered frames :

57 at BFI.
207 at MWH.
9 at RNT (flown and returned). Many others completed and stored which haven't flown yet.
63 at SKF.
35 at VCV.

= 371+5+ maybe 20 at RNT = nearly 400 frame backlog. At the current monthly Max delivery rates it's going to take them about 2 years to clear them all!

Yes another 12 -8s due between now and the early 8300s. That is of course assuming that they haven't postponed them recently. Not sure about the -9s.

In terms of deliveries - what are they averaging now per month in terms of ones rolling off the line and number from inventory/the parking lots?

90%+ of the deliveries are ex storage. There is only WN. AA, AS (plus a single TUI) that has taken any new builds since they were re-cleared to fly. They are not building anything that the customer can't take delivery of pretty quickly as they all have to pass through BFI and there is no free space there as they have nearly a 400 frame backlog to prep and deliver.

So if they are delivering 20ish per month they are only building 2 per month? Isn't that really behind schedule?

Well it's more than 2 per month in reality - there's a bunch of new build Ryanair's being churned out and not going anywhere which are skewing the figures at the moment.

GOL PR-XMO coming back from Kelly Field today (BOE813). It was for GOL via Avolon but Avolon cancelled their order. Maybe China Development Bank Fin. will take it over like they did with PR-XMM. One to watch.

Yep I agree on the frame. It's in B13 Woody, so you should be able to read it from E Marginal in between the white tents if you or Brandon are passing that way.
