No frame with 500 plus frames on its order book is getting cancelled.

No sign of it and it may not even be in final assembly. Boeing is skipping frames like some Chinese carriers. There are also 2 Buzz Air frames that have not seen the light of day and a SWA frame as well. Even though several LN#'s after have rolled out and been delivered or flown.

Thanks Woody. Just to understand how Boeing works, can they give LN's to other customers instead of its originally intended customers or is their final assembly just delayed?

There is an extraordinary situation that Wichita has been keeping on building fuselages for (too) long. Most have customer specific things in them already. So in Wichita many fuselages with LNs 7905-8400 are stacked up, most have airlines already allocated to them. But as, say American and Southwest are more eager than China Southern let alone these once due for Norwegian or Jet Airways, they order the fuselages with eager customers to ship to Seattle and complete them and leave the others in Wichita for a while which means they are delayed, LN 7905 has been built in 2019 and might take another 1 or 2 years to complete. That's what's going on now. Later down the line you will see Boeing allocate ntu fuselages to other airlines instead and delivering everything in the end, unlike Airbus which has a habit to skip LN's more often, Boeing so far only didn't complete one 767 ever.

I believe that is the 2nd aircraft, the aircraft pictured here has the reg N27752. The first -10 is N27751

Nope, was at Renton yesterday. The 4th Malta has rolled out, VUD. Belavia was in the paint hanger painted next to the P8 but when I left it was still sitting inside of it. Also 8047, another Malta has rolled out.

8047 rolled out 10 days ago. The reg on the Belavia is EW-546PA

Correct, Point I was making was that they are inside final assembly at RNT.

A bit like some SUV-MAX.

I had expected the gear struts to extend during rotation only. Looks a bit like "tundra tires" mounted on a small single.

How about stairs, airbridges and repair docks and hangar clearance height including tail and wingtips ? Doesn't this add complexity to operations?
Does it need so much more rotation angle to take off with the larger fuselage and weight? Is this what all MAXes will look like some day?

Still surprising to see how much engine pod clearance Boeing could squeeze out of it. It doesn't look unusually tight or too close to the ground.

It doesn't sit of the ground higher then the other MAX versions. The "semi-levered" landing gear only extends during rotation, not when it's on ground. If it appears higher then it's just the angle of this picture.

The plane is also likely lighter than usual (eg may be lacking a full interior, and obviously not loaded down with pax and fuel) so it would be sitting up higher.

It really doesn’t look like its height is any different than the Malta Air Max in the same post though.

The MAX-10 almost has a bit a retro look compared to any other new design. When you think how huge the engines are compared to the fuselages on 777X, A220, EMB-E2s, A320neos, the engines on the MAX-10 look so tiny.

Malta Air is a Ryanair subsidiary like Buzz Air. So Malta Air's will have air stairs.

I actually like the new Caribbean livery, I just wish the titles were larger with a more interesting font. Anything is better than their current one in which it looks like someone just discovered Microsoft Word WordArt circa 2000 though.

Agreed, the purple isn't bad. I do wish the bird on the tail was larger, and extended onto the fuselage.

For already produced frames after they finished the electrical changes. And for new frames they will have to change production procedures.

Is it only me or others have the same view the engine cowling now are actual full round/circle as opposed to previous generation? Sorry if this has been covered. And the MAX family looks to be higher on ground now comparative to previous generation, no matter which variant MAX7, MAX8, MAX9 and MAX10. Haven't seen much MAX here in South East Asia at the moment since only SQ (MI), MH (2024 delivery), GA (1 airframe), JT (operation largely limited to domestic) and VJ (none delivered yet) bought them and covid19 hits the industry badly.

On the right side of the fuselage the line number is located in 3 places. On the nose and above each lower cargo hold doors. On the left side its on the Nose only.
