Yes I am sure. I have seen some of the related paperwork. I can't say more than that I'm afraid. The aircraft is still stuck there, but the routing was always planned TLS-DWC-HKG (Not sure why the tech-stop was scheduled)

I have never previously seen three test/customer acceptance flights all on the same day for the same aircraft! Air France (and Airbus)
are obviously scrutinizing this one thoroughly before delivery!

Expect some of the frames moving in early July will officially be June deliveries to boost the half year total. Legally ‘delivery’ is when ownership changes not when the frame is taken away.

Simple Flying has spotted that EI no longer has any A350s on order. At one time they were to take 9, but 4 were transfered within IAG to IB.

Aparently the remaining 5 have also been trasferred, but the receiving airline has not yet been identified. My guess would be IB also, but who knows?

Does anyone know when EI were due to receive the first of the remaing 5 A350s?

The words are going around EI will not be receiving A350 at all as they believe A321neoXLR and A321neoLR are the way forward for Transatlantic travel. Airbus has parked the 5 A350 as "undisclosed customer" in their June O&D adjustment. Aer Lingus has some of the last A330-300ceo off production line, those will soldier on for next 15 years before a replacement would be called. The famous A350 model that was hanging on Aer Lingus departure lounge was gone about 2 years ago. When their initial order for four A350 were shifted to IB, writings are on the wall Aer Lingus would never receive their A350. It was IAG plan all along when they bought over Aer Lingus in 2015.

Bastille Day fell on a Wednesday this year (the 14th), so perhaps it's a "long weekend" in France and the flight teams took the rest of the week off.

Probably true, but there was one non-commercial test flight on 15 July which I didn't record above as it's not really relevant to the thread. The A320/A321 flight teams were their usual busy selves however!

In April this year CEO Tony Douglas said :

the A350-1000 still remains part of the long-term plan.

and

We do have A350-1000s in that plan as well. And that is the backbone of that mid-sized carrier.

He expect entry into revenue service in 2023 only and until than 12 A350s will have been delivered

Either I've missed something or it's all gone quiet on the great Qatar vs. Airbus drama. But progress on their A350 order appears to have stopped. Does anyone know what's going on?

All the -900s have been delivered but there are still another 23 -1000s to come.
