Interesting. Maybe Sun Country is actually going to enter the market as previously announced to MSP? Alaska to SEA? jetBlue to JFK? Aer Lingus to DUB? Let the wild speculation begin.

You'd hope AS will do SEA, but we'll probably just end up with something boring like jetBlue to JFK replacing AA.

Bluesky guess: Icelandair just announced the resumption of BWI-KEF for summer 2022; they already fly IAD-KEF, so it'sd mostly Baltimore traffic they're counting on. Since the Icelanders did quite well in terms of passenger numbers the summer they flew CLE-KEF, I wonder if FI might be coming back a few times a week. Using their new MAXes, their costs should be much less making a profit more possible at a frequency of 4 or 5 times a week..

And they won’t be going against WOW!

Maybe to do with the G4 adds? Or something else?

While a nice upgrade, I sure hope that's not the big announcement. That would be somewhat anticlimactic!

Tomorrow is here.. And its past 10am now--the common time for positive press releases.

Your'e showing your age Massey with the Red Carpet Club! Good to see UA reopening the United Club, I always found the agents inside to be super helpful, way more than ORD. They will help you with any future trip or questions, not just "sorry we can only work on same day travel" nonsense at other locations. I hope the good ones made it through the pandemic.
Last I saw, UA was up to 39 departures in a post. Figure there's some growth once INTL returns in 2022 full steam. What I do notice is the prices are much higher for July. Headed to LAS for $650, sure beats the $320 they used to get, not so good for those paying. As more and more workers get off the couch, hopefully there's more leisure traffic until the business folks return.
UA could easily add 1x EWR, IAH, LAX, SFO in the future. UA's CLE>FLA strategy is pretty robust, I wonder if they will continue to shy away from some old routes like CLE LAS&PHX? AA seems temperamental in their commitment to PHX. Others?

I secretly was hoping that United's big announcement would include the news that they were building a stand alone terminal for Concourse D. High end for the travelers UAL wants going forward. The ULCC's flyers can have the old terminal - just like DTW

When the United Club reopens, it will be staffed by non-United employees. Whether there will be a United CS agent to assist with bookings, I dont know.

This was supposed to be for the week of June 28th. Did anything ever get announced?
